OA's DNA experiments yield bumblebees.

Students in Biology learned about how DNA is used to create proteins through transcription and translation. They used this knowledge and new skills to make bumblebees. They transcribed the DNA sequences to mRNA, then translated the mRNA codons to amino acids. The order of amino acids was used to create their own bee. They explored mutations and created different types of bees based on their DNA sequences.
