At the beginning of Quarter 4 in English class, STEM Sophomores were presented with a question: How can we convey the “story” of our 2020-2021 school year in a way that will help people in the future understand our experience? In order to tackle this challenge, the Sophomores decided to create their own Time Capsule. Working as a whole class, they designed and laser-cut a 3D model of the Olentangy Academy building to serve as the actual capsule, and then they curated a collection of both individual and class “artifacts” to include. The finished Time Capsule will be preserved by OLSD until it is ready to be opened in the year 2041.
